WELCOME!
We all know that many nationalities came to America from every country. The Sinkler, Sinclair, and St.Clair family branches that immigrated to America came from Scotland, England, Ireland, France, and at least one branch from Germany dating back to the earliest documented emigrant in 1635. Author and genealogist Jean Grigsby has researched the Sinkler-Sinclair-St.Clair family line for approximately 40 years and continues to do so today. At the current time, the author is perfecting approximately 64 unpublished volumes which will document these branches in America.
This web site displays the publications of Jean Grigsby's research and information, a bookshelf describing different family publications by different authors, genealogical tips by Jean Grigsby, images from Scotland, a descriptive page on the Sinclair tartans, and links to various family history sites.
